Flat seals for the bearing industry still remain our main area of business. Over the years, we have developed in house methods to ensure that these are made in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. With the recent investments and changes that we have made in general, we are now able to make bearing seals in a range of diameters from 5 mm to 500 mm. This together with the fact that we have our own metal pressings company, JRD Pressings, ensures that our customers needs are always met.
The range of rollers made at JRD encompass both strict quality control on dimensions and finish, and additional “value added” processes such as drilling, tapping and additions of bearings. This means that the product is ready to use straight onto the production line.
Other than the core products above, we also make a wide range of components aimed at many different industries. Items such as valves and gaskets, underground fuel pipe connectors, white goods components to name but a few, all show that we have the flexibility needed in today’s tough working environment.
